Your Top Table has developed into its'
present incarnation through the experience of owner Richard
Greenslade in the production industry. Having worked as a
production rigger since 1992 Richard has had the privilege
to work on events all over Europe and learn the techniques
employed that give an event that wow factor, for example the
Brit awards, the Mobo awards, the Vodafone parties, and the
UK's most expensive wedding. Richard helped to install the massive mirrored ceiling for "The Weather Project" at the Tate Modern and is also the rigger for the "Doc Martin" television series.

The
effects techniques used at these events are now available in Cornwall
and Devon and can be used at your event be it a wedding, party,
conference, exhibition, barmitzvah, or festival. Our stores are
full of fabrics, lights, effects, props and the hardware needed
to install these in an unobtrusive manner. Originally conceived
as a hire company for theatre services Richard soon realised that
he could use his knowledge and experience to recreate some of the
settings at events of all kinds in the westcountry.

The
stores boasts a full stock of starcloths, disco lights, rope
lights, uplighters, pinspots, lasers, staging, projectors,
mock and real flame effects, and we can make backdrops, theatre
flats, signs etc. Another feature we offer is furniture hire
including gilt chairs with or without covers, and a parquet
dancefloor.
